Jeremy Miller and Carl Classen recognized at July 17, 2024 Meeting

Congratulations to Jeremy Miller and Carl Classen for achieving The Rotary Foundation Paul Harris Fellow and Paul Harris Fellow +3 status (respectively)

The Rotary Foundation transforms your gifts into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world.

Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.

With your help, we can make lives better in your community and around the world.

A Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) is a recognition given by Rotary International to people who donate $1,000 or more to the Rotary Foundation, or have donations made in their name. The recognition was established in 1957 to show appreciation for contributions to the Foundation's Fellowships for Advanced Study program, which is now known as Ambassadorial Scholarships. The PHF is considered the highest honor a Rotary Club can bestow on a Rotarian or community member.

PHFs are recognized with a medallion, certificate, and lapel pin. Subsequent donations of $1,000 are acknowledged by adding gemstones to the pin, up to a Major Donor level of $10,000. Rotary clubs receive one PHF credit for each dollar donated, and can purchase a PHF once they reach 1,000 credits.

The PHF program is intended to encourage Rotarians to make larger contributions, and 80% of the Rotary Foundation's annual revenue of over $70 million comes from PHF contributions. There are currently more than 1,500,000 PHFs.
