West Louisville Economic Mobility Summit
October is Community and Economic Development month. LCCC's 7th Annual West Louisville Economic Mobility Summit - focused on “Empty Pantry: The State of Food Insecurity” - was fantastic and enlightening. Keynote speaker Reverend Vincent E James Sr., CEO of Dare to Care Food Bank, inspired with his eloquent and impassioned words. The panels, breakout sessions and round table discussion were excellent. President Kevin Lynch presented the Light the Way Entrepreneurial Excellence Award for Economic Development to William & Christine Starks of G. Starks Realty Co. Rotarian Aaron McGahee also sponsored an award - the same one he received last year!
