Each year, Rotarians from all over the State of Georgia provide GRSP (Georgia Rotary Student Program) scholarships for students from around the world to spend one year studying at a public university in Georgia. These scholarships and the frequent student weekends hosted by GRSP program staff help promote world peace through understanding, and provide students with the opportunity to make friends in the U.S. and learn about differing cultures and lifestyles.
To welcome new global scholars from around the world, the GRSP program hosts an annual Conclave event that lasts three days and culminates in a cabaret dinner on Saturday evening, in which GRSP students must create and perform sketches for their Rotarian hosts! Nicholas Key, Loganville Rotary's Youth Services Chair, was in attendance, and recommends that all Rotarians attend future GRSP Conclave events for fun and fellowship!
