"Rotary Club Celebrates Excellence and Service at Annual Awards Banquet
The Rotary Club of Perry held its annual awards banquet on June 20th, 2024 at Houston Lake County Club , a night of recognition and inspiration. The event marked the culmination of the club's current theme, "Create Hope in the World," and ushered in the new theme, "The Magic of Rotary."
First responders from the community were honored, with awards presented to Police Officer of the Year and Firefighter of the Year. Perfect attendance awards were also given to dedicated members.

Gary Bishop delivered an inspiring Rotary Minute talk, and 6920 Rotary District Governor Felix Smith surprised the outgoing president, Marietta Lomboy with the District President of the Year Award.
The evening celebrated the club's achievements and commitment to service, ushering in new leadership under President Dana McCracken with the new theme, "The Magic of Rotary," which promises to continue inspiring members to create a better world."
