Three Rotary Districts will co-host their annual Rotary Conference from April 28 through May 1, 2022 at the Marriott Shoals Hotel and Spa in Florence, Alabama.
Rotary District 6880, governed by Bruce McNeal, covers the Southern half of Alabama including Montgomery & Mobile. Rotary District 6860, governed by Harold Lewis, serves the Northern half of Alabama including Birmingham & Huntsville. Rotary District 6760, governed by Michael Babb, comprises middle- and west-Tennessee including Nashville & Jackson. These three Rotary Districts combined serve approximately 9,000 Rotarians who are service-minded business leaders actively involved in Rotary.
During the conference, Rotarians will learn about local and international Rotary service projects, the status of the eradication of Polio, the significance of “Service Above Self,” and the benefits of supporting the Annual and World Funds of the Rotary Foundation.
Keynote presentations during the conference will be conducted by Past Rotary International President Mark Maloney, Florence Rotarian Jim Blasingame, and local motivational speaker and Rotarian Pete Key.
Recreational activities will be offered as well including golfing, site-seeing excursions, relaxing in a world class European Spa, poolside activities, music and more.
In addition, families will have an opportunity to visit many destinations in The Shoals: The Fame Recording Studio, Shoal’s area Breweries, Bars, and Restaurants, the Helen Keller Museum, the Children’s Museum of the Shoals, and more.
District Governors McNeal, Lewis, and Babb have planned fun, food, entertainment, and site-seeing for a Rotary experience you will not want to miss.
