Welcome to the Rotary Club of Conway
Since 1921, the Rotary Club of Conway has been inspiring and unifying community leaders through a legacy of service above self. The mission of the Rotary Club of Conway is to enrich lives locally and internationally through service, education, networking, and leadership. Club members meet each Thursday from Noon-1:00 p.m. at the Hole in the Wall Café. You are invited to visit and see what we are all about!

Rotary International is made up of more then 33,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas. Rotarians form a global network of over 1.2 million business and community leaders, all volunteering their time and talents to serve their communities and the world.

Rotary began in 1905 when Paul Harris, a young lawyer in Chicago in the spirit of friendship and understanding gathered together a few men, each engaged in a different form of service.  They met in rotation at different places of business of members and later, as others joined, the group became organized and was called Rotary.  They could not have dreamed that their little club would grow into the organization that it is today.  The first Rotary club in Arkansas was the Little Rock club, organized in 1914.

The Rotary Club of Conway was officially founded April 26, 1921, although the charter was presented June 14, 1921.  It became the 16th Rotary Club in Arkansas and was one of only 900 in the world at the time.    Today, the Rotary Club of Conway has grown into a vibrant, engaging service organization with more than 100 members.  The club meets weekly at noon on Thursdays at the Hole in the Wall Cafe.  The club is involved in several international and local service projects including the Toad Suck Daze Pancake Breakfast raising money for college scholarships, an Adoption Picnic, Outstanding Faulkner County 8th Graders, Recognition of Civil Servants and Rotary’s PolioPlus to name a few.

Rotary membership provides the opportunity to become connected to your community, work with others in addressing community needs, interact with other professionals in your community, assist with Rotary International's international humanitarian service efforts, establish contacts with an international network of professionals, develop leadership skills, involve family in promoting service efforts and more.
