Loganville Rotary just committed to a $40,000
project to finish an orphanage in Haiti!
With the help of a matching grant from one of it’s members, the Loganville Rotary
committed to funding the roof on an orphanage in Haiti. The project had been
funded on a shoe string for years and they had gotten the walls put up. But you can
not partially fund a roof. It was time for some real money to go into the project.
Enter, the Loganville Rotary. We committed to fund the entire roof with a $40,000
donation. A strong local church will be doing a mission trip to finish the windows
and doors and they have a simple plan for sustainability after the building is done.
50 years from now, Orphans in Haiti will still be protected from sex trafficking and
taught to read and the word of God because of the efforts put in today by the
Loganville Rotary.
