President Bill's Update
As we wrap up another thrilling Mega Raffle, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event a resounding success. This year’s Mega Raffle Drawing was a wonderful gathering, and it was delightful to see so many familiar faces. A special appreciation goes out to Josh Smith at The Paper Place for hosting our ticket drawing event. We could not have asked for a better venue.

Lei Darcy, as usual, did an outstanding job arranging for treats and refreshments that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Did you catch Mayor Preedin in action? Yes, that was him, graciously pulling the winning tickets, adding a touch of civic pride to our gathering!

Looking forward, we have important events that require your enthusiastic participation. On April 16th, we continue our tradition with the Books for Kids backpack stuff. This initiative is crucial as we commit annually to equip Sisters First graders with exciting treats to foster their love of reading. A big shoutout to Peg Bermel, who has led this effort for the last 12-14 years. Although Peg is stepping down this year, she passes the baton to Ann Davis with our deepest gratitude for her years of dedication. The club owes much to Peg's efforts, and we are confident Ann will lead with the same passion and dedication.

Moreover, preparations for Sister’s 4th of July Roundup are well underway. We are in discussions with the City of Sisters to ensure this year's celebration is spectacular, featuring all our traditional favorites: pancakes, a parade, a car show, livestock, and music. Your involvement is crucial to make this another event to remember!

Your continued support and participation make all our endeavors possible. Let's keep the momentum going and make 2024 a year of impactful community service and unforgettable gatherings.
