Welcome to the Federal Way Rotary website. 

We are business owners and community leaders from around Federal Way who come together to connect with and serve our community, country and world. We do this by giving our time, talents and treasure to local,
national and international organizations and partnering with other non-profits who are making a positive impact on/in the lives of others.
 

Established in 1905, Rotary has been instrumental in the eradication of polio over the past 30 years. With over 35,000 clubs and 1.2 million members around the world Rotary provides opportunities to serve and network, and Rotarians are as diverse as the communities we serve. From international youth exchange to scholarships for college-bound students, Rotary values and invests in the future. From sanitation and solar energy projects to Peace Fellowships, Rotary is involved in making the lives of others and our/the world better.

Locally, Rotary supports the BAG program, the William J. Woods Veteran’s Housing, and in the past has had youth exchanges from Federal Way to Frankfurt, Detroit to Dakar and Sydney to Strasburg!

Rotarians provide clean water and sanitation projects as well as literacy and leadership programs.  and is now working relentlessly to wipe out malaria. Locally, Rotary provides scholarships to college-bound graduating high school seniors, bettering the lives of senior citizens and the less privileged, partnering with the city on many initiatives and building
projects, giving gifts to children at Christmas time, and more.

Rotary’s newest endeavor, in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, is to eradicate malaria.
