Loganville Rotary Club Adopts a Road

This past Saturday, a few members braved the cold to complete our 4th roadside clean up in the past year.

Recently we have focused our attention in the area of Destination Park that includes Harrison & Tuck roads.

 

We enjoy having the opportunity to fellowship and work together in groups to make meaningful contributions to the community.

Destination Park is a particularly important location for the club. In the past, the club has contributed to equipment and facilities in the park, which has become a great place for families to play and relax.

Please direct your focus to the bench in the background of the group photo that captures 2 key points.

First is the recognition of Mr. Kurt Hansen, a member that devoted significant time and energy building the club and executing the projects that make a difference, which includes the creation of the Kurt Hansen Foundation that will serve the community for years to come.

Also noticeable is the Rotary motto, "Service Above Self". This is what its all about. We are honored to be partners in this endeavor.
