Member Spotlight - Jenifer Thrasher

Jenifer and Marty Thrasher have been Rotarians since 2020 and 2018 respectively. They are the owners of Dixie Exhaust Cleaning, who serves the restaurant industry in the southeast US. Their company provides cleaning services for the ventilation systems for restaurants. Proper cleaning allows for efficient and safe operation of restaurants.

Both of them chose to join the Rotary Club of Loganville so they could give back and serve the community and meet the finest business owners.


 
When asked  how that expectation has been met, Jenifer shared that the 4 Way Test is something she has learned and found she can apply it to all areas of her life. For those unaware, the 4 Way Test is:

• Is it the TRUTH?
• Is it FAIR to all concerned?
• Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
• Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

For Marty, he expected to meet like-minded business people and he is certain that he has found that in the club. Each member represents Service Above Self. Along those lines of who they have met the shared that their best friends are in the Rotary.

As far as benefits they have received, both have been positively impacted by the people served. The reactions and emotions of those that have witnessed have warmed their hearts. These are also the fun times for them as they get to enjoy some early mornings with their friends.

Most of all, they shared that they wish more people truly understood what the Rotary did and how Rotarians care for all people, regardless of nationality or financial class.

Finally, we are very thankful to Jenifer and Marty because of the number of roles they have served in, which includes Sargent at Arms, President, Vice President, Membership Chair, and Admin Chair.
