Member Spotlight - Jared Eakins

Jared Eakins is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones and currently serves as the Youth Services Chair for our Loganville Rotary Club. This involves coordinating the GRSP (Georgia Rotary Student Program) and other youth programs, including the Rotaract Club at Loganville High School.
 
Recently, we asked Jared to share some of his experiences since joining the club in March of 2021, starting with why he joined in the first place. He shared he joined to serve and give back to the community by being a part of a global network of like-minded servant leaders.

Along those lines, Jared shares how the various philanthropic events that the club does have become very impactful for him. Seeing the club and community members rally to serve others is particularly powerful. 

Because of these experiences, he has built relationships that  have benefited him personally and professionally and wishes that more people realized that the Rotary is not just for business professionals that have already made it. Being part of the Rotary is a chance to serve and benefit others while still building your personal business.

Speaking of business, I asked Jared what makes his financial advisory practice stand out. He shared that his office is different because they offer a variety of ways for clients to make appointments, including video conferencing and meeting at the clients home or office. As a result, they are much more convenient to work with.
