Member Spotlight - Renee Park

Renee Park and her husband Joe are owners of TAPP Plumbing, based in Loganville, GA. She has been a Rotarian since 2010 and is well recognized based upon her service and energetic personality.
For those that know Renee this comment pretty much sums it up, "At first, as most young businesses, we joined to network. Rotary Studies say that years 1-5 are about growing your business, years 6-10 are about service and over 10
years are about fellowship. For my husband and I after the first 3/6 months it immediately
became about service and still is, of course I started fellow shipping day 1."

Renee's energy is a critical component of our club. Our meetings start at 7 AM each Thursday. Like most we are connecting and having a good level of conversations until Renee, our Sergeant-at-Arms tells us it is time to get to work by saying these 4 words..."GOOD MORNING BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE." When the group doesn't match her intensity she let's us know it. While we all grumble when asked to step up the intensity and do better, we also recognize that she is setting the standard for all of us to be our best at that moment. For me that captures how Reness serves our club and our community.

When asked about her Rotary experience, she shares that the list of friendships created is too long to cover and adds when she finds out someone is in the Rotary they are immediately part of her family. As far as Service Above Self, Renee commented that while attending The International Convention she realized she was helping the world, not just the community.

Finally, Renee wishes more people knew this about the Rotary experience, 'I wish more people knew that even
though we all are different, that we come together at the end of the day to serve the greater
good, to help others with a hand up. We are leaders in our community who want to serve not to
be served!"

We are all honored to have Renee Park in our club and our circle.

Thank You Renee!
