It's always a treat when one of our own Rotarians is also our guest speaker. Paducah Public Schools Superintendent and Paducah Rotarian Donald Shively has worked extraordinarily hard this summer with his team to prepare for a safe return to school for students, faculty, and staff. We are fortunate to have such talented and dedicated educators in our community. Thanks to The Paducah Sun for reporting on Superintendent Shively's presentation to our club.
At this week's meeting, we took a lovely self care break as Compass Counseling Owner Katie Englert led us through a relaxation exercise on Zoom. In her presentation to our club, she emphasized the importance of taking the time to care for yourself and talked about the mental health implications of COVID-19.
